L’Institut du Nouveau Monde lance une campagne de financement participatif pour réaliser la 20^e édition de l’ouvrage

MONTRÉAL, le 22 octobre 2015 – Pour souligner le 20^e anniversaire de L’état du Québec, l’Institut du Nouveau Monde (INM) invite les citoyens et les organisations à participer à la réalisation de l’ouvrage phare et à soutenir la démocratie au Québec par une contribution à sa campagne de financement participatif avant le 1^er décembre 2015.

100 % des fonds amassés dans le cadre de la campagne iront à la production de l’édition spéciale 20e anniversaire de L’état du Québec. L’INM se tourne pour la première fois vers les Québécois pour partager le risque financier associé à la réalisation de l’ouvrage. Produire L’état du Québec représente un investissement de 90 000 $ annuellement, et plusieurs des partenaires financiers de l’ouvrage ont dû mettre fin à leur contribution au cours des dernières années.

«Cet ouvrage est précieux pour le Québec. Il est unique. Il est fait pour les citoyens qui veulent, en quelques heures de lecture, faire le point sur l’actualité brûlante tout en prenant une saine distance de l’information instantanée. Nous avons décidé d’inclure les citoyens dans l’équipe de L’état du Québec par cette campagne de financement participatif. Il n’y a pas de meilleure façon de protéger son indépendance, d’assurer sa longévité, que l’ouvrage soit financé par ses lecteurs et par les citoyens à qui il est destiné», s’est exprimé Michel Venne, directeur général de l’INM.
